What is the difference between Golden Boat soy sauce and other soy sauce?

How can you tell whether soy sauce is naturally brewed?
Naturally brewed soy sauce is distinctive due to its colour, flavour and aroma, in addition to providing health benefits. However, it is difficult to sample the product at the supermarket. The best thing to do is to take a close look at the list of ingredients. Our naturally brewed soy sauce only contains the four natural ingredients of soybeans, wheat, water and salt. It does not contain any colourings or flavour enhancers. And it is naturally brewed rather than chemically brewed.
Is Golden Boat soy sauce suitable for vegetarians and vegans?
Most of our products are all suitable for vegetarians and vegan diets. Please see the clearly labeled “V – vegetarian” symbol on the bottles.
Is soy sauce only suitable for Asian dishes?
Despite having Asian origins, our naturally brewed soy sauce is a universal seasoning. It is perfect for Asian dishes and for many other types of cuisine – from soups to salads, meat to fish, vegetables and pasta.
Does Golden Boat soy sauce contain nuts, eggs, dairy and shellfish?
No. Golden Boat Soy Sauce is naturally brewed and made from soybeans, wheat, salt and water only. Please note that our products contain only the ingredients as listed on the labels.
Is Golden Boat soy sauce made from genetically modified soybeans (GMO)?
All our products are well selected from high quality ingredients and made using non-genetically modified soybeans and wheat. We take great care in selecting the ingredients that go into our products, as we have done for the past 100 years.
How should soy sauce be stored?
Opened bottles of soy sauce are best kept in the refrigerator where the soy sauce is protected from the effects of light and heat, especially for light usage. Otherwise soy sauce can be stored in room temperature.
How long will Golden Boat sauces keep after opening?
Due to the freshest highest quality ingredients we use, for the best quality we recommend using the sauces within 2 months of opening. Our sauce products of course last much longer, but for the best texture, taste and colour we recommend consumption within 2 months.
